With Gethsemane Lutheran School being blessed with a swimming pool, Mr. Robson, our principal sponsors an event each spring called the Polar Bear Plunge.   Fifth through Eighth grade students are given the opportunity to become a member of the Polar Bear Club. Being a member of the club requires students to jump into the unheated pool and swim the length of the pool. On March 31, 2010, twenty students took the challenge and became certified members of the Polar Bear Club  Congratulations to these brave young people!
